Full, free' trade agreement can enhance inter-Arab ties
The full implementation of the Greater Arab Free Trade Area (Gafta) has the potential of achieving greater economic integration, QNB has said in an analysis.
The trade of the 18 countries in the Gafta grew 11% in 2012 to $2.1tn, QNB yesterday said citing latest IMF trade data.
Further reduction of customs duties and other barriers to trade will boost the area's economic integration, the report said.
